Mrs. Inez McDaniel, 82, widow of Mr. Clyde McDaniel, died Tuesday, May 25, 2004, in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Friday, May 28, 2004, in the Enoree Baptist Church in Enoree, S.C., with the Revs. Bob Mathis and Ron Parris officiating. Burial will be in the Greenhaven Memorial Park in Enoree, S.C.

The funeral for Ms. India Butler, age 94, of Thomson, Ga., will be Friday, May 28, 2004 at 3 p.m. at the Greater St. James A.M.E. Church, Thomson, Ga. Rev. Gerald Caldwell, pastor, officiating. Interment in the Westview Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church beginning at 2 p.m. Ms. Butler was a McDuffie County native and a member and the mother of the Greater St. James A.M.E. Church where she was a lifelong member.
