Mrs. Jewell Holley Fillingim, 92, of St. Marys, Georgia passed away Monday, March 1, 2004 at Baptist Village in Waycross, Georgia. A native of Liberty County Florida, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Alford Dallas Holley and Mrs. Lucile Stokes Holley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in St. Marys, Georgia and she was also a hairdresser for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Mr. Marvin Jackson Fillingim.
Entered into rest Sunday, February 29, 2004, Mr. Roy Howard Hutto of Graniteville, S.C., son of the late Martin Hutto and the late Flossie Rawls Hutto. He is survived by daughters, Edith "Edie" Conaway of Graniteville, S.C. and Alice Howard of Augusta, Ga.; four grandchildren, Chasity Conaway, Tommy Conaway, Michael Howard and Kim Howard; six great-grandchildren and two sisters, Margaret Holley and Nellie Mae Weatherford both of Langley, S.C.

Mrs. Elena P. Medina, age 72, entered into rest Sunday, February 29, 2004 at Medical College of Georgia. Mrs. Medina was born in Puerto Rico and lived in the Augusta area since January of 1971. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and Hispanic Ministry. A loving mother, wife and grandmother who leaves a legacy of kindness, mercy and generosity and who will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Lillian Johnson Davis, age 89 , beloved wife of the late Hubert "Shug" Davis, died Sunday evening at Westwood Nursing Home in Evans. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at Johnson United Methodist Church, Warren County Ga. with Rev Carol Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery. Mrs. Davis will lie in state for one hour prior to the funeral service.
